James started learning violin at the age of 5 with Haobing Wang (Violin and Viola professor). At the age of 11, he participated the Beijing Dandelion Youth Competition and was placed first in solo performance. James graduated with a Music Education Degree Majoring Music Pedagogy from the University of New South Wales. During this time, James had studied under Maria Lindsay (AMEB Violin Demonstrator and leader of the Lurline Chamber Orchestra).
James’ teaching strategy was developed and influenced by Maria Lindsay. James wants his students to not only know how to play the instrument but also learn how to enjoy the process.

Sylvia started learning piano at the age of 5 and was selected into the Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory M.I. Glinka at the age of 16. She learnt piano solo performance and chamber performance from Prof. Blagovidova Galina Borisovna and Prof. Flerova Ekaterina Andreevna. In 2015, Sylvia graduated with a Master of Piano Performance Degree.
Sylvia has been working as a piano teacher for more than 10 years. Her teaching strategy was taught and influenced by many famous Russian pianist, which is to establish strong piano techniques to allow students to reach higher achievement.

Siobhan started playing flute from the age of 9 and has since learnt from many teachers, notably studying under Jocelyn Fazzone (AMEB chief woodwind examiner, and flute instructor at the Conservatorium). Siobhan completed a Bachelor of Music with Honours in performance and has completed AMEB LmusA with distinction. Her ensemble experience includes Principal flute at UNSWO, section leader for UNSW Wind Symphony, and Principal flute at NSWYO with a scholarship.
Siobhan’s teaching style is flexible, utilising both AMEB and Suzuki methods with emphasis on technique allowing students to achieve a high level of playing.

Ino graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (Music Performance). She started to learn cello at the age of 5 and studied at the Wuhan Conservatory of Music at the age of 12. After graduating from High School, Ino went to Germany to continue her cello studies. During her four-year study in Weimar, Germany, Ino studied under Prof. Tim Stolzenburg and Horst Zakowsky.
Ino has won the Best Performance Award in the Aegean Cup International Cello Competition, the First Prize in the group in the “Four Straits” Cello Competition, and the First Prize in Germany Jugend Musik Spiele in 2013.
Ino has many years of cello teaching experience and focuses on guiding students to explore the beauty of music. While teaching students to practice the cello efficiently, Ino also encourages students to enjoy playing and the music itself.

Evelyn

Evelyn is currently completing her bachelor degree of music performance in the Sydney Conservatorium majoring in classical harp. She is learning harp with Professor Louise Johnson, the principal harpist of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Evelyn has participated in several orchestral programs including The Orchestra Project conducted by Fabian Russell and the Concert program with Western Sydney Philharmonic directed by Kristian Winther. In Addition, she has performed in Wind Symphony and New music program both in solo and harp ensemble.
Evelyn is a passionate and patient teacher who focuses on helping her students to gain musical interests and develop their musicality. Her goal is helping the students to achieve a deeper understanding of music and the harp instrument, using her musical skills and the Salzedo techniques.

Scarlett started learning singing at the age of six and studied music theatre at the age of sixteen. Scarlett graduated with a Bachelor of Music (music theatre) from the Australian Conservatory of Music. Scarlett also studied at The Shanghai Theatre Academy. Scarlett has plenty of musical theatre performance experiences in both China and Australia. Scarlett played Bo Fu in “Thoroughly Modern Millie” directed by Mosman Musical Society and as Ensemble in “Miss Saigon” by Noteable Theater Company. Scarlett also played Maria in the musical “The Sound of Music” in Zhengzhou Art Center and played Elsa in the musical “Frozen”. Scarlett played Reception in the 16th-grade graduation drama “The Grand Hotel” at Shanghai Theater Academy. Additionally, Scarlett also has a lot of vocal performance experience in China.
Scarlett is patient, enthusiastic, and great at communicating with both students and parents. Scarlett has plenty of teaching experience in musical theatre and vocal. Scarlett wants students to learn from performances.

Amy

Amy is currently completing Bachelor of Music (Performance major) at UNSW. Amy is also a part of UNSWs selective choir the Burgundian Consort which frequently performs new and commissioned works.
Amy started singing lessons at the age of nine, and has since completed 8th-grade AMEB classical vocal exam with a pass with honours. In 2019 Amy was selected to participate in the Gondwana Voices International tour in both London and Germany and performed the premier of Brett Deans ‘Vexations and Devotions’ at the Berlin Philharmonic. In 2020, Amy graduated as the DUX of Music 2, with an encore nomination for her classical vocal performances. Amy also frequently participates in eisteddfods, recently awarded 1st place for 18/U Classical Vocal Solo and 1st place for Open Classical Vocal Solo at the 2021 Ryde Eisteddfod.

Cody started playing the guitar at the age of 12 and singing at 16. In 2015, Cody performed at the Reprise Showcase for the best HSC performances in the Hunter region. Cody has since completed his Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Vocals at Excelsia College and is currently studying his Masters in Teaching (Secondary) at UNSW. During this time, Cody has been working on writing and producing his music and developing his teaching practices. Cody has been working as a tutor for the past four years and is passionate about helping students develop their vocal and guitar techniques and approaches this in a fun and exciting manner.

Josh started learning drums at the age of 13 and he studied with Simon Kobler (Drummer for Hillsong United) when he was in high school. Josh graduated from Academy of Music and Performing Arts majoring in music performance, where he was able to learn different types of rhythm and musical genres. He performed with many alternative music artists in Korea and Australia including Min ho-ki (민호기) and Brian Kim.
Josh is also currently working as a recording session musician at 3 Matters Records and he’s done studio recording sessions for different types of genres such as pop, indie, alternative and rock. As much as Josh wants to see students’ improvement, he also wants to build healthy relationship with them and help students to enjoy the instrument.

Lilac started learning piano at the age of 7. After immigrating to Australia, Lilac completed high school at the Australian Institute of Music. During high school, Lilac had plenty of stage experiences from participating in various music activities.
Lilac focuses on helping students establish strong piano techniques, allowing students to achieve higher outcomes and inspiring them to love music.

Adrian has received formal classical music training since he was a child. Adrian is currently studying Bachelor of Music Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and currently learning piano with Professor Stephanie McCallum (currently the Postgraduate Coursework and Performance Leader of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music).
As a teacher, Adrian’s goal is to develop healthy and creative musical relationships with students, emphasising the importance of practice to achieve musical goals. Adrian also helps students to develop sight-reading, aural training and music theory as well as piano technique and repertoire analysis.

Yang Yang, Doctor of Musical Arts at the Catholic University of America, Master of Piano Performance at the Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory M.I. Glinka, and a faculty of Yunnan Arts University, Master supervisor.
In 2013, she won the third place in the piano solo group of the 14th Moscow International Music Festival Competition. In 2016, she participated in the Washington International Piano Festival and won the third place in the ‘’3rd Washington CUA University International Piano Competition’. In the same year, she held a concert at the famous Kennedy Center in Washington, USA and the performance was a complete success. In 2019, Yang Yang was selected as the piano principal of the University of Washington Symphony Orchestra, and worked with the Symphony Orchestra to complete a two-month tour, covering Washington, Delaware, Maryland and other states in the United States.
Starting in 2020, Yang Yang has been teaching at the Piano Department of the Music College of Yunnan Arts University, China.

Rebecca has served as a judge of The Voice of China Oceania Division, a judge of the “Singing New Power” singing competition in Sydney, Australia, and also won the Bronze Award of the German Philharmonic Music Competition, the Silver Award of the China Philharmonic Music Competition, and was a member of the East Bay Campus Choir of California State University.
Rebecca is an experienced full-time vocal teacher who is passionate about vocal music teaching. She has her own unique insights into vocal music and teaching. Rebecca has lots of stage performance experience and also won the Hong Kong TVB Beauty Pageant Sydney Division Champion, the Australia Division Runner-up, and various awards in Sydney vocal competitions (such as Sydney Eisteddfod).

Zhiyang Ou started learning piano at the age of four, soon his musical talent was revealed, he had won several awards from the Hong Kong International Youth Piano Competition, the Macau International Youth Music Competition and other local piano competitions.
Zhiyang studied with Professor SownLe Choi, one of the renowned concert pianists and pedagogists. After being accepted by several British conservatories with scholarships, he decided to study under Professor Tessa Nicholson in the Royal Academy of Music in 2010, where he gained his Bachelor of Music with honours in 2014 and Master of Music from the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in 2017 studying with the Vice Dean, Professor Florian Uhlig.
Zhiyang himself had gone through all stages of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exam, and he was the first recipient of the Fellowship of the Royal Schools of Music (FRSM) in mainland China, the highest diploma of ABRSM. Meanwhile, he also holds the Licentiate of Trinity College of Music (LTCL) with Distinction from the Trinity College London.As a piano teacher, he already had 10 years’ experience and have students across the globe. His students all achieved excellent results in different exams, competitions as well as music schools/conservatories entrance auditions.
